Arcade Fire announced they have added a show to their concert schedule, and the new date will mark the celebration of the 20th anniversary of the band’s seminal debut album, Funeral.
The show, scheduled to take place at London’s O2 Academy Brixton on July 4, will see the rock giants play the album in its entirety. London’s post-punk collective Warmduscher will support the band at the show.
Arcade Fire, comprised of frontman Win Butler, Régine Chassagne, Richard Reed Parry, Tim Kingsbury and Jeremy Gara, have a previously scheduled concert at Dublin’s Malahide Castle in the diary for July 7, and shows in Italy, Portugal and Spain alongside festival appearances at NOS Alive and BBK Live.
The Canadian Grammy Award-winning band’s last album WE arrived in 2022.
