Billie Eilish has earned her first No. 1 on Billboard’s Adult Pop Airplay chart, with “What Was I Made For?” from the Barbie soundtrack rising to the top spot on the list dated March 2.
Previously, Eilish sneaked into Adult Pop Airplay top 10 with “Bad Guy” (No. 6 peak, 2019), “Everything I Wanted” (No. 5, 2020) and “Therefore I Am” (No. 5, 2021).
Eilish and her brother Finneas co-wrote “What Was I Made For?” which won Grammy awards for song of the year and best song written for visual media and the Golden Globe for best original song. The song has also been nominated in the best original song category at the Academy Awards on March 10.
On the Pop Airplay chart, “What Was I Made For?” hit No. 6 in December, becoming Eilish’s fourth top 10. In February, the song peaked at No. 17 on Adult Contemporary, a new best for her on the list. On the Billboard Hot 100, the song reached No. 14.
