Brandi Carlile Joins Big Bird, Snuffleupagus On 'Sesame Street' To Sing About Nature

March 12, 2024
in Entertainment

Grammy-winning singer Brandi Carlile joined Big Bird and Mr. Snuffleupagus on a recent episode of “Sesame Street” to sing about nature.

“Nature is all around us, it’s everything around us not made by people,” Carlile says in a clip from the episode.

She then delivers a catchy song, “That’s Why We Love Nature,” while traveling with Big Bird and Snuffy through green rolling hills and fields of flowers.

“When I feel a gentle breeze / hear it whistling through the trees / when I greet the green, green grass beneath my feet / I see a butterfly in flight / floating in the warm sunlight / when I taste a summer berry and it’s oh so very sweet,” she sings.

“When I see nature all around me / Then I feel as peaceful as can be / Clouds roll by and happiness surrounds me / it’s in my nature to love nature, naturally,” Carlile, Big Bird and Snuffy sing in the chorus.
