CMT recently announced nominees for the 2024 CMT Music Awards, revealing a five-way tie for the leading nominee.
Kelsea Ballerini, Cody Johnson, Lainey Wilson, Jelly Roll and Megan Moroney each earned three nominations for the fan-voted awards show.
There are 14 first-time nominees, including Amber Riley, Ashley Cooke, Bret Michaels, Chayce Beckham, Hozier, Koe Wetzel, Stephen Wilson Jr., Tyler Childers, Warren Zeiders, Zach Bryan, Anne Wilson, Ella Langley, The Castellows and Tigirlily Gold.
Ballerini, Kacey Musgraves and Brandy Clark featuring Brandi Carlile, Darius Rucker, Childers and Zach Bryan are in contention for Video of the Year, the top award.
Ballerini will return as host for the CMT Music Awards, which will air live from Moody Center in Austin, Texas, on Sunday, April 7 on CBS.
Fan voting is open through April 1 in nine categories. Voting for Video of the Year will remain open through portions of the CMT Music Awards. To vote, visit vote.cmt.com.
