Ice Spice Reveals She's Finished Record Debuting Album 'Y2K'

March 10, 2024
in Entertainment

Ice Spice recently took to social media to reveal that she has finished recording her debut album, Y2K.

The New York rapper, whose real name is Isis Naija Gaston, shared two photographs of herself in pink platform heels and a jean skirt, holding a red lollipop.

“I finished recording y2k the album ^.^,” she captioned her posts on X and Instagram.

The record’s title is inspired by Ice Spice’s birthday – January 1, 2000.

“I think this is some of my best work,” the rapper told Billboard about the album. She also hinted that “it’s not going to be too long — it’s going to be sweet and to the point.”

The rapper has not yet announced a release date for the project.
