Madonna, The Weeknd & Playboi Carti Team Up For New 'Popular' Video

Madonna, the Weeknd and Playboi Carti have teamed up for a video for their collaborative track “Popular.”

The visual, directed by Cliqua, and shot in New York and Atlanta, arrived on Thursday (February 22). It opens with a close-up of Madonna’s shining grill, as she whispers, “I’ve seen the devil/ Down Sunset/ In every place/ In every face.”

The camera then focuses on a lush hillside, where the Weeknd is seen singing from inside a massive massive mansion that features superb artwork.

The Weeknd originally released the song in June last year as part of the roll-out of music from his HBO music drama “The Idol.”
