Modest Mouse have announced they will reissue their seminal album, Good News For People Who Love Bad News, on April 5th in celebration of the record’s 20th anniversary.
The deluxe edition, titled Good News For People Who Love Bad News: 20th Anniversary Expanded Edition, will feature eight bonus tracks, the band said.
While the deluxe edition will be out digitally on April 5th, a 2xLP vinyl set will arrive on May 17th via Legacy Recordings, the catalog division of Sony Music Entertainment.
New remixes from Poolside, Jacknife Lee, Dan the Automator, and MGMT’s Andrew VanWyngarden, are among the bonus tracks featured on the upcoming deluxe edition.
Along with the announcement about the special edition, the band also shared a video for “The World At Large/Stiff Animal Fantasy,” which was previously only available on the DVD side of the Good News DualDisc, and “Schoolhouse Brock – Modest Mouse On Trial” from that same DVD.
