A producer named Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones has filed a lawsuit against Sean “Diddy” Combs, alleging that he was sexually harassed and assaulted by the artist.
The suit filed in federal court in New York alleges that Combs forced Jones to have sex with prostitutes and claims that the hip-hop star had been drugging and threatening him for well over a year.
Jones, who says he lived and travelled with Combs from September 2022-November 2023, produced nine songs on Combs’ recent record The Love Album: Off The Grid.
Jones, who is seeking a $30 million, claims in the lawsuit that in February 2023 he woke up in bed with two sex workers and suspected he had been drugged. The producer also alleges that he was asked to work in Combs’ bathroom when the artist “walked around naked and showered in a clear glass enclosure.”
Diddy’s attorney Shawn Holley said in a statement, “Lil Rod is nothing more than a liar shamelessly looking for an undeserved payday. His reckless name-dropping about events that are pure fiction and simply did not happen is nothing more than a transparent attempt to garner headlines.”
“We will address these outlandish allegations in court and take all appropriate action against those who make them,” he added.
