In an updated complaint she filed on Tuesday (March 12), Liza Gardner, who had alleged that she was sexually assaulted by Sean “Diddy” Combs and Aaron Hall after an MCA Records party in 1990, has claimed that she was 16 years old when the assault took place.
In the latest filing signed by lawyer Tyrone Blackburn, Liza also claims that she has a letter from her therapist and an affidavit from a friend stating that she recounted the alleged assault during conversations in 2014 and 2019, respectively.
Rolling Stone quotes Blackburn as saying that the statements from the third parties will be disclosed “when the case begins discovery.”
“As my records indicate on 2/18/2014, my client disclosed that she was raped by two males in New York when she was 16 years of age,” the therapist purportedly writes in the letter excerpted in the amended complaint. “It is my professional opinion that the trauma of being raped by two men accounted for much of her ongoing symptoms of hypervigilance, anxiety, panic attacks, and episodes of depression, all, symptoms indicative of PTSD.”
Liza had alleged in the lawsuit that Diddy and Hall offered drinks to her and a friend after the event that night. She said she was offered more drinks and then coerced into having sex with Combs. Later, Hall “barged into the room, pinned her down, and forced Liza Gardner to have sex with him,” the complaint claims.
