Trisha Yearwood will receive the inaugural June Carter Cash Humanitarian Award at the 2024 CMT Music Awards.

In addition to accepting the award, Yearwood will make the world-premiere performance of “Put It In A Song,” the first release from her upcoming album.

The event will air from Moody Center in Austin, Texas, on April 7 beginning at 8 PM ET/PT on the CBS Television Network and will be available to stream live and on-demand on Paramount+.

The June Carter Cash award recognizes an artist, duo/group or industry veteran who demonstrates an exceptional dedication to the community and their fellow artists as Cash did.

Yearwood’s philanthropic work includes her decades-long dedication to Habitat for Humanity.

Kelsea Ballerini will host the 2024 CMT Music Awards.

Other 2024 CMT Music Awards performers include Ballerini, Bailey Zimmerman, Jelly Roll, Keith Urban, Lainey Wilson and Sam Hunt.

More performers and presenters will be revealed in the coming weeks.
