Dr. Dre recently revealed that Eminem is set to drop a new album this year.
Dre revealed the news during his recent appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” where he shared some ideas about his upcoming projects.
“Let me tell you something, let me explain something to you right now: Eminem is working on his own album which is coming out this year,” Dre said. “And I actually talked to him and he said it okay for me to make that announcement right here on this show. So he has an album coming out, I’ve got songs on it and it’s fire. I’m actually gonna hear the entire album for the first time tomorrow.”
He added, “He holds his music close to his chest, so I haven’t heard everything. I haven’t even heard everything complete that I’ve done, but I’m gonna hear it, and he’s putting out an album this year.”
The upcoming untitled album, which will be the rapper’s 12th studio album, will be a follow up to his Music to Be Murdered By, released in January 2020.
During the television talk show, Dre also spoke about having been honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame earlier in the day.
