Glass Animals have announced their new album, I Love You So F***ing Much. The band also dropped the project’s lead single “Creatures In Heaven.”
Following the announcement of their fourth album, Glass Animals also announced the 2024 “Tour of Earth.”
I Love You So F***ing Much will drop on July 19 via Republic Records. The album is a follow-up to 2020’s critically acclaimed Dreamland, which featured the blockbuster hit “Heat Waves.”
“These words take on a different meaning every time you say them,” frontman Dave Bayley says of the upcoming album’s title phrase. “The universe may make us feel overwhelmingly small, but we have this human connection that is far vaster and more mysterious. Love comes in an infinite number of forms and shapes and sizes. It is so complex, and so powerful that even witnessing the tiniest instance of it can change your life forever.”
“It’s about a moment in time, be it a split second or a year or whatever, having the capacity to be enormously formative and life-changing,” Bayley said of the new single. “Even if it is over. Or if it doesn’t go as planned. Or if it dies too soon. It is still f***ing beautiful. The love and care and the feeling in that moment lives forever. It never really dies. If that’s how you choose to see it.”
Meanwhile, the 41-date tour kicks off on Wednesday, August 7, at PNC Music Pavilion in Charlotte, North Carolina, with stops across North America, Europe, and the U.K., before wrapping up with an epic hometown performance at The O2 in London on November 7.
The band will be joined on the road by Kevin Abstract, Eyedress, Blondshell, and The Big Moon on select dates.
