Lainey Wilson Teams Up With The Black Crowes On 'Wilted Rose'

March 18, 2024
in Entertainment

Lainey Wilson has teamed up with The Black Crowes for a collaborative track, “Wilted Rose,” from the band’s new album, Happiness Bastards, which arrived on March 15.

“Wilted Rose” is a Southern rock ballad, featuring soulful guitar lines. The song sees Wilson lending harmonies to Chris Robinson’s soulful lead vocals. The track slowly progresses into a heavy, psychedelic-tinged jam section featuring Hammond organ and slide guitar.

“It’s an honor to wail on this record with these legendary, pioneering rockstars,” Wilson wrote on social media. “Welcome back boys! You’ve been missed.”

“Wilted Rose” arrived on streaming services and as a digital download.

Happiness Bastards is the band’s first album of new original songs in nearly 15 years.
