Ozzy Osbourne has joined Billy Morrison on the new single “Crack Cocaine,” which also features guitarist Steve Stevens.
“Crack Cocaine” appears on Morrison’s upcoming album The Morrison Project, due out April 19. The track also features Tommy Clufetos, who plays drums in Ozzy’s solo band.
Other guests on The Morrison Project include Billy Idol, Slipknot’s Corey Taylor, Steve Vai, Motley Crue guitarist John 5 and Linda Perry.
Much of the record was co-written by Jeordie White, aka ex-Marilyn Manson bassist Twiggy Ramirez.
“The song’s not about crack cocaine,” Osbourne told Rolling Stone. “It’s about being in love with a chick. But it’s kind of what you might think Ozzy Osbourne would do. It’s, like, the two loves in my life: drugs and women.”
“Crack Cocaine” marks the first new song with Ozzy on vocals since the 2022 release of his worldwide smash album Patient Number 9, which earned him two Grammy Awards.
“I was in the same room as Billy and Steve,” says Ozzy about co-writing the song. “The lyrics just came out of the blue. It was written in about 20 minutes.”
