Shakira’s 12th studio album, Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran has debuted atop Billboard’s Top Latin Albums Chart dated April 6.
According to Luminate, Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran, which arrived on March 22 through Sony Music Latin, earned 34,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. during the March 22-28 tracking week.
Of the record’s first week sum, 19,000 units are from streaming, equaling 26.73 million official on-demand streams of the album’s songs. Album sales contribute just under 15,000, while the remaining 500 units are derived from track-equivalent album units.
The record also debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Latin Pop Albums chart and bowed at No. 2 on Top Album Sales, No. 4 on Vinyl Albums and at No. 13 on the overall Billboard 200 chart.
Shakira is the first woman with No. 1 albums across four decades.
