The Jesus And Mary Chain Release New Single 'Girl 71'

March 1, 2024
in Entertainment

The Jesus And Mary Chain recently shared a new single, “Girl 71,” from their upcoming album Glasgow Eyes.

“But that wouldn’t last a day / Well, nothing does, so that’s okay / Piss doesn’t touch the ground / Give up what you need,” Jim Reid sings in the upbeat, retro-sounding track.

Glasgow Eyes is the band’s first album in seven years and their second since reuniting in 2007. The record was initially supposed to be out on March 8, but according to reports, due to vinyl production delays, they’re pushing that date back a couple of weeks to March 22.

“Girl 71” is the third track to be released from Glasgow Eyes, following “Chemical Animals” and “Jamcod.”
