Weezer have announced a 2024 tour in celebration of the 30th anniversary of the rock band’s Blue Album.
The Flaming Lips and Dinosaur Jr. will join them as support on the trek.
Kicking off in Saint Paul, Minnesota, on September 4, the “Voyage to the Blue Planet” tour will also make stops in cities including Toronto, Boston, New York, Nashville, and Washington, D.C. on the way to the final stop in Inglewood, California, on October 11.
“The time has finally come for you to join us as we embark on the voyage to the Blue Planet Tour,” the band wrote on their website. “We’re celebrating 30 years of the blue album, and we’re bringing along The Flaming Lips and Dinosaur Jr for the ride. not only are we playing the album in full each and every night of the tour, but we also plan on playing all of your favorite weezer songs, rarities and more”.
The general on sale will begin on Friday at 10 am local.
