Judas Priest Release Blistering New Single 'The Serpent And The King'

British heavy metal icons Judas Priest recently released a new single, “The Serpent And The King”, from their upcoming studio album, Invincible Shield.

“The Serpent And The King” is the fourth single from the band’s highly anticipated new studio album, which is set for release on March 8th. The band previously released three singles from the album, “Crown Of Horns,” “Panic Attack” and “Trial By Fire.”

Judas Priest will embark on their Invincible Shield Tour with special guest Sabaton later this year. The tour kicks off on April 18th at the Toyota Oakdale Theatre in Wallingford, Connecticut, making stops in Reading, Boston, Rosemont, Washington, and more before wrapping up in Syracuse at the Empower Federal Credit Union Amphitheater at Lakeview on May 22nd.

Judas Priest had announced their long-awaited 19th studio album Invincible Shield during a live performance at the Power Trip festival. The band filled in for former Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne, who was scheduled to headline the festival but withdrew due to ongoing health issues.

The album will be the band’s first in six years, a follow-up to 2018’s Firepower.
