Kehlani Returns With New Single 'After Hours'

April 12, 2024
in Entertainment

Kehlani recently released a new song, “After Hours,” marking their first solo release since 2022’s Blue Water Road.

The song sees Kehlani crooning over a sample of Cordel “Scatta” Burrell’s “Coolie Dance Rhythm” and setting the mood for a fun date night.

“We don’t gotta take it slow/ I’ma hit the gas if you’re ready to go/ I wanna speed it, breathe into your clothes/ The way you touch my neck got me ready to fold,” Kehlani sings.

Khris Riddick and Alex Goldblatt produced “After Hours.”

Kehlani had earlier taken to social media to announce their plans to release the song. They also previewed the record in a spicy video the singer shot with their friends.

Blue Water Road saw Kehlani collaborate with heavyweights like Justin Bieber, Jessie Reyez, Syd, Blxst, Thundercat, and Ambré.
